Why travel with us

Our tours are designed to bring together book lovers in the heart of the destination where the novel is set. We provide a ready-made travelling book club community – everyone on the trip loves the same book, so the ice is instantly broken!

Each of our trips is for a maximum of 10 people. We want to make sure people can relax, chat and share their love of books together – not get overwhelmed or lost in a big group of tourists!

No rushing around a city – our itineraries are deliberately low-key. Each Book Club Travel Club trip includes casual drinks on the first night, a walking tour of the key locations from the book the following day and an evening meal together.

The rest of the time is up to you! Join up with other members of the gang for trips to other local sights, go for drinks or simply take some time to yourself to sink in to the book. No pressure, no packed schedules.

We’ll provide recommended hotels, apartments and B&Bs for each destination and a list of potential flights from airports across the country – but you decide where to stay and how you get there. Add a few extra days to your trip, upgrade to a more luxe hotel or do it all on a small budget – the choice is yours.

FAQs

We host a maximum number of 10 people on each group tour.

Flights and accommodation are not included in the cost of the group tour. This is to allow you complete flexibility over where you fly from and when, and to allow you to spend as much or as little as you like on your hotel or apartment.

Each group tour includes a welcome drink on the first evening in a local bar or restaurant, a guided walking tour of the main locations from the book and an evening meal together.
