Who we are
Hello, and welcome to Book Club Travel Club!
Our mission is to create curated, literary-inspired adventures that allow you to bring your favourite books to life – right in the places where these magical stories took shape.
I’m Julia, and two of my absolute favourite things in life are travelling to new places and losing myself in a good book. I’ve travelled extensively around the world (including a whole family gap year with my two boys) and at every stop I always find myself seeking out books that are set in that destination. I love the feeling of getting to know a new place through stories that have been set there – then attempting to figure out the exact spots that inspired a storyline or character for myself.
I’ve organised group travel across continents for years, creating meaningful and unforgettable experiences.
So I’ve brought my travel knowledge and organisation skills together with my love of books to create a destination-based book club that combines literary travel with a sense of community.
What we do
The whole ethos of Book Club Travel Club is to bring people together in the heart of the destinations that inspired our favourite books. We create lovely, welcoming little book club gatherings across Europe with hand-crafted itineraries that let you dive deep in to the stories. We’ll walk in the footsteps of our most beloved characters on carefully curated, relaxed walking tours. We’ll soak up the atmosphere over a local meal and a glass of wine (or whatever else you fancy!). We’ll come together with fellow book lovers to chat about books, travel and everything in-between.
